Looking at the Varta 100Ah – anyone using one in their SUV?

The 100Ah capacity seems to be the sweet spot for larger SUVs and luxury sedans, especially if you've got things like start-stop systems or a lot of electronics drawing power . I'm particularly curious about how the AGM versions hold up in our summer heat because I've read that extreme temperatures can really accelerate the ageing process in batteries . There was actually a field study done in Dubai where vehicles with conventional batteries failed after just 5 to 6 months, while the ones equipped with AGM batteries were still going strong after a full year, which is pretty eye-opening . So I'm thinking the AGM technology is probably the way to go. I was browsing around and came across what looked like a genuine Varta 100Ah battery assessment for Dubai vehicle owners, and it seemed to confirm that these batteries are specifically engineered to handle our conditions with heat-resistant components and better corrosion protection . I'm just trying to figure out if the higher upfront cost is actually worth it in the long run, because I'd rather pay a bit more now and have something that lasts 3 to 5 years instead of replacing a cheaper battery every year or two . Has anyone here put a 100Ah Varta in their Patrol or a similar large SUV and can share how it's performed? I'm particularly interested in how it handles the summer months when the car's been sitting in the sun all day, and whether you've noticed any difference in the start-stop performance compared to the original battery. Also, I've read that with some cars you need to code the new battery to the vehicle's computer, especially with European models, but I'm not sure if that applies to Japanese SUVs as well.
