The Federal Republic of Valetira formally enacted its first law: the Citizenship Status and Procedures Act (CSPA). Passed by the Citizens’ Assembly and effective immediately, the Act defines how citizenship is earned, classified, managed, and preserved in the new republic.
The CSPA introduces a three-tier citizenship system:
- Standard Citizenship
- Compliant Citizenship
- Non-Compliant Citizenship
Each reflects an individual’s level of participation in civic duties and national programs such as the census, educational courses, and identification systems.
The law also establishes the Ministry of Citizenship, an executive agency tasked with issuing regulations, administering status classifications, and managing appeals and identity documentation. The Ministry will be led by a minister appointed by the Prime Minister. That role is now held by myself, Manuel Segundo, immediately assuming office upon the Act’s ratification.
